Internal CCTV has many applications. Its main use is for deterring shoplifting and employee theft. However it can also be used to improve employee safety, reduce insurance premiums or increase employee productivity
CCTV Video Storage
CCTV systems can be either based on Analogue or Digital technology. Digital systems (particularly digital video storage) have many advantages over analogue ones, but the main ones are:
- Remote monitoring of your property by live feed to your mobile phone or PC
- They never run out of tape (so never stop recording)
- The image quality is much higher than video-tape
- Accessing the recorded video is almost instant
- Simultaneous recording, playback and archiving is possible
